Our client is seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager to develop, implement, track, and optimize our Product, Consumer, and Event marketing campaigns across all channels. Create and manage the day-to-day marketing activities and long-term marketing strategy for the company. Responsibilities:

B2C Marketing

  • Develop advertising creatives through coordination with staff copywriters and designers
  • Manage our paid demand-generation campaigns
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to execute paid campaigns and manage lead collection
  • Place campaigns on relevant advertising platforms, including AdWords, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.
  • Track, analyze and report efficacy of campaigns
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Oversee Creation and Execution of our Comprehensive Social Media and PR Strategy
  • Create a regular publishing schedule for relevant social media channels
  • Curate and promote company activities, relevant industry oriented news and activities to highlight as a thought leader for its target markets
  • Take steps to measure, enhance, and enrich brand awareness through various goals and objectives

Product Marketing

  • Understand buying cycles and define buyer personas
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that addresses a buyer’s needs and invokes the desire to engage
  •  Translate messaging into meaningful and contextual benefits that feed into the development of creative presentations, demonstrations, collateral, blogs, and email marketing campaigns, retention campaigns
  •  Develop sales plays and enablement tools focused on helping inside sales, field sales teams, and channel partners. Understand target markets and buyers, buyer personas, pains points, and key messages
  • Develop cross product programs and initiatives that will drive further market penetration
  • Gather and analyze competitive data to infuse content with messaging that is clear and communicates our key differentiators

Conference Strategy

  • Build and maintain an inventory of applicable conferences, trade shows, and speaking calendar(s) for our chosen conferences
  • Promote staff conference participation by maintaining a CFP calendar and reminding staff of proposal due-dates
  • Secure and handle logistics for scheduled conference trade shows
  • Coordinate with our copywriters and designers to ensure booths, demos, and handouts are correctly prepared for our chosen conferences
  • Publicize our conference activities to prospects and past attendees through email and other online promotion
  • Plan and organize promotional giveaways for select conferences

Qualifications

    • 4+ years' product marketing, marketing, data analyst, or product management experience at a software company in a leadership role
    • MUST BE proficient in Google Ads and Google Analytics
    • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with prm, expertise in breaking complex problems and presenting solutions to them
    • Loves data and knows how to leverage data in different ways for different audiences to drive the direction of the business
    • Ability to build business models based on user insights and data with SQL/Excel proficiency a plus

  • Help develop, define, and oversee product roadmap; manage it to meet deliverables for the business
  • Define and prioritize the work for internal and external software development teams to meet deadlines
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to identify, test, execute, and measure high-impact product changes
  • Communicate with the executive team to champion your team's efforts and gain buy-in for product plans
  • Develop relationships with external software partners which will be integral to the success of the product roadmap

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in product management, developing software preferably within a SaaS organization. Some start-up experience is greatly preferred.
  • Experience product managing software related to payment processing or FinTech
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and roadmap-management tools

  • Act as an expert advisor, coach, and mentor across the technology organization on latest principles and practices. Assess skills & building career development plans for direct reports. Identify areas of improvement and conduct regular one-on-one meetings with engineers. Establish metrics and processes for team member assessment and improvement. Create and implement training programs for engineers, and implement processes to develop careers. Build a healthy engineering culture by planning and facilitating technical events and technical learning curriculums.
  • Strategy. Ideate, scope, plan, estimate, coordinate, derisk roadmaps for our consumer-facing experiences. Participate in an iterative planning process to estimate, prioritize and roadmap the development of new features and applications.
  • Collaborate. Acts as a point of escalation for teams facing complex technical challenges. Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that support the company’ strategic goals. Work closely with members of the engineering team to direct the development of the strategic technology vision and execute against the product and technical roadmap. Determine the long-term architecture of our platform and be responsible for implementing the company’s product development vision.
  • Plan. Define KPIs, objectives, and targets for measuring and improving the quality, security, scalability, maintainability, cost and time to market our custom software solutions. Establish processes and controls to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of software development. Balance the work within the engineering team to include the expected capacity allocation for new features, tech debt, architecture improvements, and innovation prototypes. Ensure software delivery deadline commitments are met and manage risks and dependencies.
  • Test. Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for continuous improvement in the design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring and operation of our cloud platforms. Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization. Ensure company technical roadblocks are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Innovate. Create a challenging, innovative and supportive environment for team members to grow and produce their best work. Drive adoption of new technology and processes across the engineering team. Create technical requirements and application designs to govern the security, scalability, sustainability, cost and overall quality of our infrastructure, systems, content, and data. Identify opportunities for delivering the company?s services as a leader in consumer advocacy including: identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in product management developing software preferably within a blockchain or software company. Some start-up experience and/or small company experience is greatly preferred
  • Experience product managing software related to blockchain, payment processing, or fintech
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and roadmap-management tools
  • 2+ years experience in leadership and management of a product team
  • Track record of managing the entire product life cycle and successfully bringing new software products to market
  • Hands on, passionate, and collaborative
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, yet can deal with change and ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
